Hellcats  is a fun and flashy comedy-drama about Marti Perkins (Aly Michalka), a law student at Lancer College. When her scholarship is taken away due to her flighty mother's negligence, Marti must become was she stands against, a cheerleader. Ashley Tisdale is perfect (as always) as the type-a captain of the squad, Savannah, and Heather Hemmens is delicious as mean girl Alice. Hemmens reminds me of Naya Rivera, who plays Santana on "Glee". Alice is the main villain of the piece, who sustains a wrist injury in the pilot, and Marti takes her spot on the squad. The episodes are well written and acted, all of the characters, even Alice, are likable. The cheer leading sequences are fun and play like production numbers. Michalka and Tisdale's familiarity with audiences is sure to bring in fans of theirs, so I have no doubt the show will at least have a second season. Sharon Leal is also quite good as the head Coach, Vanessa, and it is good to see her in a larger role than what I have seen her in before. ( Courtesy of Articlesbase )

Episode Synopsis: Think Twice Before You Go
After the incident in the car, Dan (Matt Barr) issues Marti (Aly Michalka) an ultimatum – either admit she has feelings for him or their friendship is over. Marti drags a depressed Savannah (Ashley Tisdale) to a BBQ to help lift her spirits. Savannah drinks a little too much and decides to flirt with the DJ, which puts her in a compromising position later that night. Marti decides to tell Savannah the truth about what happened between her and Dan. Gail O'Grady, Sharon Leal, Robbie Jones and Heather Hemmens also star.
