Private Practice is a spin-off of ABC’s popular hospital drama,Grey’s Anatomy. It stars Kate Walsh, Dr. Addison Montgomery who is a famous neotanal surgeon and also the ex wife of Dr. “McDreamy” from Grey’s Anatomy. Addison heads to Santa Monica to start a new life when she realizes that her husband is lost and Seattle Grace hospital has nothing left to provide her. She reunites with a bunch of old friends and joins them in a chic private practice that manages to do a good job despite its staff full of ego maniacs.
