"American Idol" this week will be long. And not just for competitors. Us. According to Fox, the Top 12 boys perform on Tuesday from 8-9:30. Girls 8-9:30 PM Wednesday the two-hour results show on Thursday. Welcome back, too long the results will be displayed. Gah.
Because this season does not really seem to play like someone said earlier, I'd say what happens Thursday. All press release says the finalists are announced. I guess that's the top 12 (although I heard there will be a wild card for the 13th member, but who knows). This means that 12 people would be reduced on Thursday. Six guys, six girls? Of course I could be wrong. Last season, went from Top 24 to Top 20 this week. Anything is possible in this season.
